FLASHBACK: Harry Reid supports the Audit the FED
Before Harry Reid was Senate Majority Leader he was for Auditing the Federal Reserve. Now that the Audit the FED bill has passed the House he has VOWED that it will not make it to the floor of the Senate for a vote. This man, who once, “Introduced Audit the FED every year” and admits that “no other entity effects the lives of every American more than the Federal Reserve” will not allow it to make it to the floor. This video needs to go viral and put pressure on our Senators and Harry Reid himself, to pass the Audit The Fed!

Ron Paul’s Audit the FED Bill passed by an Astounding 327-98 in the House vote today.

As a result of the recent mass shooting in Colorado, many people have been asking, “What could one person armed with a handgun do against a psychopath in a bulletproof vest with throat and groin protectors and armed with an AR15, a shotgun, and two Glocks?” Well, to be honest, I don’t know. That’s not really important though. The difference between being armed and not armed is that being armed gives you more options. If you are armed, you have the option of trying to disengage and get away or to engage and fight. Your level of involvement may not be completely up to you, but you have more control over the situation than you do if unarmed.
Aftermath of Midnight Massacre: People Waking up
Following the theatre shootings in Aurora, Americans are buying guns and filing with their states to legally carry and conceal firearms. Scrolling through the headlines on Drudge and The Gun Wire (a new favorite site of mine) it appears that people across the nation, not only in Colorado, are waking up.
The NY Post is reporting:
“gun sales jumped in the three days that followed. The state approved background checks for 2,887 people who wanted to purchase a firearm — 25 percent more than the average Friday to Sunday period in 2012 and 43 percent more than the same interval the week prior…Seattle’s home county, King, saw nearly twice as many requests for concealed pistol licenses than the same timeframe a year ago. Florida recorded 2,386 background checks on Friday, up 14 percent from the week before. Oregon checks on Friday and Saturday were up 11 percent over the month prior. Four days of checks in California were up 10 percent month-to-month.”
Saving for retirement
So if you’re one of the “grandchildren” who will be left holding the bag – I wouldn’t bother saving for retirement at all. The 12% ROI figure that has been spouted by financial gurus for years is a joke. Hopefully this is obvious over the last 12 years. Forget the stock market. Look for alternatives. Nearly any alternative will do. Even housing is a better bet, but precious metals, personal skills and education, and side businesses are a better bet.
War, What Is It Good For?…The Economy?
It seems like every time you turn around there is some other threat in the world that needs our immediate attention and intervention. We are told that if we fail to act we face severe threats to our national security.

Blind lead the blind and both Rand into the ditch
I cannot tell you how many people have asked me or emailed me wanting to know what my position is on the Rand Paul endorsement of Mitt Romney. The reason I cannot tell you is because none of you have…which makes me sad because if you want a truly fresh perspective on any given topic then its best you go to a philosopher rather than a political pundit. So shame on all of you and in penance for your lack of objectivity you will now need to read this post.
It took all of about five minutes before cries of “Crucify him!” were shot towards the junior senator and though I have yet to fully form an opinion on his actions, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that those cries are too premature. There simply is not enough information for anyone to say one way or another with firm logic that what Rand Paul did was an out an out betrayal of his father or us for that matter. The only reasons I have seen for why we should no longer support Rand Paul are speculations that either he was threatened, he sold out for power and prestige, that he isn’t truly like his father and of course his endorsement of a neoconservative warmonger is nothing short of compromise. The first three being improvable at the current time, therefore not suitable foundations for formulating opinion we can only honestly assess the notion that he compromised so let’s walk that path for a bit.
Rand Paul endorsed the republican party’s presumptive nominee, so what does that do exactly? How does it actually change the process? Does it have any legal ramifications? Is it a vote in Romney’s favor which will actually effect the outcome of the election? I don’t think so. Let us also not forget that Rand only gave his endorsement after his father had conceded and as far as Fox news believers go, Ron has been out of the race for quite some time anyway so in their eyes all Rand did was endorse anybody but Obama and you know how they love that. Rand’s endorsement of Romney, in the eyes of the neoconservative, only separated him from the ‘kookiness’ of his father and his father’s supporters which makes him look very appealing for the future, not to mention that when this thing goes south and the economy bottoms out regardless of who becomes president; people will be forced to look at the policies we have been heralding because they will be the only ones left. In fact there is only one way, by my estimation that Rand’s endorsement hurt the Liberty movement, and I’ll get to that one thing in a moment because first I think we need to examine the positive’s of the senator’s actions.
In 2008 the Liberty movement began stirring because of the warning horns sounded by Ron Paul and unfortunately we rushed into the process just shy of the knowledge and numbers we would’ve needed to save the country. Sucked, I know. We didn’t quit though. We marched on for the next three years and in that short time we came into the 2012 process like a roaring lion. Our numbers are incalculable and our knowledge is only increasing. We are inserting ourselves in the lowest levels of the party and beginning to take it over en masse and there is no doubt in my mind that the terror of our growth has the old school republicans biting their fingernails down to the quick. So much so, that the only way they have managed to slow down the Liberty movement in this presidential race is by outright fraud and theft of votes and delegates. We have pushed them to the point of having to cheat out in the open for the world to see just to slow us down. As it stands, no one truly knows the delegate count or what is going to happen in Tampa at the national convention so all the Paul campaign really has to go on is the count they can confirm, and that count simply wasn’t enough so it is understandable that perhaps a plan B was set into motion for the future of our movement, wouldn’t you think? If that is the case, and Rand’s endorsement was a political move to put us in a much better position in 2016 and beyond then there is no doubt that our boy was playing politics to which we shake our heads while giving the stink eye. We don’t like playing politics do we? We see that as compromise and none of us compromise in our endeavors to restore the republic…do we now?
Those of you who support Ron Paul and the Liberty movement on the internet only, you guys can go suck a balloon for the next few minutes because this isn’t for you. It isn’t for you because you haven’t even believed in Liberty enough to get off your fat ass and get involved yet. If you really want to help you can keep liking and sharing Ron Paul videos on face book if you like, but those of us trying to actually bring about change via the corpse of the republican party would really appreciate it if you understood how much we need actual doers of the word; so to speak. For those of you who have jumped into the political process and attempted to ram Ron Paul through by becoming a delegate or getting elected to public office I would point your attention to a point I find most valid.
Are you really a republican? Do you really believe in the positions of the republican party as they currently stand? No, you don’t. You want limited government, low taxes, no entangling alliances and you want the troops brought home. You also know that whenever you discuss politics with anyone you always add “I’m really a libertarian but have to work within the republican party to get anything done” or something to that effect. You also went down to your local mass meetings and signed a republican pledge knowing full well you were being a bit shifty by signing your name beneath the elephant emblem. You saw nothing wrong with taking the Ron Paul magnet off your car, or removing your Ron Paul button from your shirt as you attempted to secure a delegate slot because you knew full well that if the old school neoconservatives could peg you as a Paul supporter there was no chance for you at all. Hey, you had to do it though, right? You weren’t compromising, you were simply allowing the neoconservatives to have a less than definite perception of you so that they would give you the benefit of the doubt and possibly let you slide onto a slate. You knew that if Ron Paul or the movement had any chance of success you were going to have to swallow your pride and get your foot in the door and most of you have decided that even after the race for the White House is over you will continue to call yourself a republican and help Liberty minded candidates rise to the top rather than the scum. Of course after admitting this you must now explain to me how what you have done, doing, and intend to do is any different from what Rand Paul did? You are playing politics and yet somehow think that you’re playing isn’t compromise and Rand’s is.
Don’t feel bad, I absolve you because in my view playing politics isn’t compromise. It’s like this; you can either play this game and point out at every turn, as loud as possible to all other players that the banker is cheating or you can simply never even put your top hat game piece on the Go square. Which is it going to be?
I’m not holding the Pauls up to Him in stature, yet I think the following example is fitting. When Jesus Christ was walking the earth his disciples had no doubt that he was the Messiah and were completely convinced that a revolution was going to be brought about through Him however when he died on the cross they were all disheartened and scattered like sheep. Some of them even said “to hecketh with it, I go a fishin” and were going to wash their hands from all they had accomplished in the years prior. Why? Simply because they reacted too quickly and too harshly out of ignorance. They did not understand that in the long run Jesus’ death was a part of the plan and ultimately served to bring about a revolution much larger than they had even imagined. Not too long before the crucifixion, even Peter accused Jesus of compromising when he spoke of going to the cross. It wasn’t until they saw what their leader did next when the jigsaw fell into place. With this in mind I think the coolest of heads will agree that though we should keep a close eye on Rand the fact of the matter is that we will not know the full meaning of what he has done until we see what he does next. So please, all of you vowing to never support Rand Paul from here on out, will you please just swallow your slice of humble pie and wipe your mouth clean so we can move on. Thanks.
Now I want to address the one thing that Rand Paul’s endorsement might do to hurt our movement. It might fracture it, divide it, conquer it. If there is any movement or group of people who should understand how divide and conquer works, it should be us shouldn’t it? As a whole we are unstoppable but split into factions we become impotent. It is troubling to me to see some of you out there proclaiming you are going to bail out of the whole process or that you will never support Rand Paul this far into the game which I find ironic because I guarantee you that the first order of business on the republican party’s list when this race is over will be the systematic removal of we thorns in their sides by all means at their disposal. One of those means will be the republican party’s rule which states than anyone in the party endorsing a candidate other than the nominee can be ejected from the party altogether. I can already see this being done to those of us who are going to march into our local meetings with a chip on our shoulder openly endorsing a third party candidate. Any reason the neoconservatives can find to cheat us of our representation will be called upon, after all look what they have done to us thus far. Most importantly though, I think it time that we take a look at the person leading the charge in this ‘pull away from the Paul’s’ crusade and honestly investigate some motives here.
Since Ron conceded and Rand endorsed, Alex Jones has stirred up within our movement an unnecessary storm which could possibly derail all the efforts we activists have been working to build in the last few years. He has pretty much made the claims that Ron Paul has been compromised by people working for the overlords of darkhatchery at the least and has been secretly using us for the past thirty years by sucking our money up into a movement intended to fail at the most. He has come out and demanded explanations for their actions or his support of them would be withdrawn and when they actually do come out and explain their actions he continues to attack them as compromisers and brings guests on like Gerald Cilente to further purport this notion. Gerald Cilente, the guy who thinks the solution to our problems is a direct democracy performed via the internet. He attacks reasoned reporters like Jack Hunter and calls their intentions into question as well while simultaneously sending one of his attack dogs, Luke Rudkowski to follow Rand Paul around Washington and hope that no one sees that Luke is just being an annoying douche bag when the editing is done.
Now don’t get me wrong here because I listen to Alex Jones and intend to do so from here on out but that doesn’t mean I trust him to do my thinking for me nor should you. You see, Alex Jones has made the statement that he has known this whole time that the delegate process wasn’t going to work and our campaign was doomed to fail and I think that at this point any rational mind would ask the question, “If you knew, Alex, why didn’t you tell us months ago when we could have done something about it?”. It does make one wonder, does it not? What possible reason could the guy who allegedly warned us about 911 for years in advance have for not warning us we were being strung along…for thirty years…by the one congressman who has never buckled? Now Alex Jones wishes to pull his listeners away from the Liberty movement and flaunts that half of his supporters are what put Paul on the map in 08 and the anti Rand rhetoric isn’t slowing down one rant. His divisive, paranoid schizophrenic perspective on Rand and Ron’s actions will no doubt appeal to those who are accustomed to following pipers off of a cliff and sad to say we have our fair share of people who take the words of the people in the radio as the gospel. There are some who simply will do what Alex Jones says just as there are neoconservatives who will do what Rush says.
To tell you the truth though, I think Alex Jones should be held up to the light of scrutiny because of the actions he has performed in the past by disrupting a legitimate protest in Texas seen here, then completely distorting how it went down the next day on his broadcast. Or need I remind you that when Debra Medina had a real shot of booting Rick Perry from the governors’ mansion a couple of years ago, Alex Jones played a key role in cutting her down by the ankles over 911 Truth when he says out of the other side of his mouth that it isn’t smart for Ron Paul to speak out about such things lest he be branded a lunatic and made of none effect in Washington? Or are you aware that not too long ago his regular guest and ‘friend’, David Icke was just…and believe me these are his words because they would never come from my mind…’a turd in the punchbowl’? Have you not heard that even Alan Watts, a regular to both his show and documentaries has openly stated that Alex Jones also serves a purpose to the overlords of dark hatchery?
The real bitch slap in the face for me, though, is that I have yet to see some awesome, high def, footage of Alex Jones down at the Texas republican caucus becoming a delegate or helping to sweep his local convention. I hear from him all the time that he is sick and tired of corrupt government and the only solution is to get active on a grassroots level but on the same token he is too busy to do so himself. This is a bitch slap to me because, though I do not have a multimillion dollar operation with several employees to keep me busy, I do have just as many personal obligations and still find the time to participate in this endeavor rather than just complain about it. Sorry but I just don’t lend much respect to the do as I say bunch when all they are really doing is throwing stones in some seriously transparent glass houses.
I suppose what I would leave you with is this; whatever Rand Paul’s motivation was in endorsing Mitt Romney it proved one thing we all claimed to already know. We do not follow men, rather ideals and at the end of the day the only person who is going to fix things is the reflection of your reflection in the mirror. Stay united brothers and sisters and question those who would say otherwise.

Is anyone surprised?
The Fed is expected to announce QE3 sometime today- which would be a continuation of the Keynesian interventionism that has so far helped our economy get back on track in great form. Stellar form! I just can’t think why it didn’t come sooner? If some printed money is good, wouldn’t MORE printed money be GOODER? The message here, people, is diversify your wealth. Do not hold only dollars, or only items valued in dollars (like stocks). Get SOME hard assets (like gold, tools, real estate, etc) to help you weather the coming storm of inflation. I like precious metals- especially lead and brass.
